Based on sun cured western premium timothy hay, Zupreem Nature's Promise provides a high fiber diet, is easy to digest and is naturally palatable. When we adopted our chinchillas, they went nuts for their new food! However, it is always best to transition the diet using a gradual changeover method: slowly reduce the amount of the old food while increasing the amount of new food over a period of 2 - 3 weeks.

Feeding Instructions
Feed 2 tablespoons of pellets daily. Reduce or increase the
amount depending on the chinchilla’s overall body condition.
Also feed free choice ZuPreem® Nature’s Promise™ Hay Products.
When introducing a new food, begin with a mixture of the “old”
and “new” foods. Gradually increase the amount of new food
over a 7 to 10 day period. Provide plenty of fresh, clean water.
