Janis' book is a ground-breaker and adds a very realistic perspective to the over-inflated drama that our media presents as it relates to dog bites. Yes, dogs do bite. But exactly how often do they bite and what actually consists of "a dog bite?" By now, probably everyone reading this website has heard of BSL (breed specific legislation) and if this is a topic that interests you, and it should, then Janis' book is a must read for it will surely be one of those eye opening books you'll remember forever.
